Your live RI Lobsters™ are shipped overnight to your home or
place of business via Federal Express. Federal Express will
deliver your lobsters to your door before the end of the delivery
day.

guarantees that your RI Lobsters™ are alive when they are
delivered to your home or place of work.
If
you make arrangements to pick up your package at the FedEx
delivery depot, we guarantee that they will be alive when picked
up, providing the pickup occurs prior to the depot’s closing
time on the scheduled date of delivery. riLobsters.Com assumes no
responsibility for orders picked up by customers after depot’s
closing time on the scheduled date of delivery.
Next-Day
Delivery
Federal Express provides extraordinarily reliable service
to riLobsters.com and our customers. FedEx drivers and depot
workers go to great lengths to deliver our live RI Lobsters to our
customers overnight. It’s quite mind-boggling that they are able
to do so with such consistency. If, for some reason, a
mistake is made and your live RI Lobsters are not delivered on
time, we guarantee 100% replacement.
The
one exception to our express-mail over-night guarantee has to do
with extreme weather conditions, sometimes called “Acts of
God.” If an ice storm grounds the Fed Ex air planes, or
impassable snow drifts block the Fed Ex delivery trucks, or a
flood closes the highway, or another such weather condition
occurs, you may not get your lobsters on time. Furthermore, in
these circumstances, we do not guarantee 100% replacement value.
By ordering live RI Lobsters from riLobsters.Com, you accept these
conditions.
When
the Fed Ex delivery person does get to your door, someone should
be present to receive the package. Typically, if no one is home,
the package will not be left unattended. If you are unable to be
at home to receive your live RI Lobsters, please have your order
sent to your place of business or to a friend’s address. Or, you
may want to arrange to pick up your live RI Lobsters at your local
Federal Express depot. (You must call FedEx in advance to make
arrangements to do so.) Your third option would be to leave a note
taped on your front door, asking the FedEx person to leave your
lobsters. If you do leave a note, without exception, you are
responsible for the safety of the lobsters left by your door.
Shipment
Tracking
The day before the day you tell us to deliver your live RI-Lobsters,
you will receive an e-Mail notice from us that will include your
Federal Express tracking number. Sometime in the afternoon of that
day, the tracking process will start. You will see your package on
its way to our airport. As your lobsters advance to your address
you will be able to follow their progress.
The
day you place your order you will receive our riLobsters.Com Order
Confirmation and Thank You e-Mail. But, your tracking number is
not created until the day before you are to receive your lobsters.
Please
take care to include your correct e-Mail address when you place
your order. Also, if you are sending live RI Lobsters to a third
party, try to include their correct e-Mail address so they, too,
can tract their package.
Problems
with your order?
riLobsters.Com guarantees the quality of
its lobsters on the scheduled day of delivery. All claims must be
made on the day of delivery by calling 401-210-1475. No claims are
honored if not made on day of delivery.

Packaging
Live RI Lobsters™ travel best when packed securely in
heavy-duty Styrofoam cartons, covered with wet packing material,
together with gel ice packs, before they are sent off to you. So,
that’s what we do. Our packing will remind you of Good
Olde Yankee
Ingenuity.
Cancellation
Policy
Live RI Lobsters™ currently does not provide
means for cancellation due to our costs involved with accepting
orders and insuring timely and accurate delivery of orders.
Almost immeadiately after your order is placed your hosts begin
working on your Live RI Lobsters to insure they are delivered to
your door on time. We encourage you to place your order head
of time and schedule a delivery date.
